Another stupid suicide poem

By finaldestiny

Look at me! Look at me!
im rambling on and on
something about suicide and death
it has to be a turn on

hell this is darkpoetry
shouldn't it be this way?
everything needs to have blood and guts
and about not being here the next day

hey believe it or not
im trying to show a point
suicide doesnt grab attention
nor does lighting up a joint

so please please
just stop while your ahead
im quite sick of this
god you're hurting my head!!!

im sorry if i offend you
with this stupid poem
but im tired of reading this stuff
please go to the doctors and show em

i thank you for your time
and letting me express myself
im packing my bags up
and putting this one back on the shelf

Problem is, the attention seekers aren't the only ones who will read it. But honestly, everyone...don't give this one poem too much credit. For a serious suicidal person, one poem is not going to make or break their will.

ironic part is, that writing about the suicidal feelings "can" provide and "does" on many instances provide a coping mechanism that prevents thought from becoming action. I don't approve of this poem at all...but it was well written.

What about those who don't want to read them? You say to turn the other cheek, why can't you do the same here? I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. If people can write about suicide, we can write against it.

One small difference is that generally, suicide poems are written expressing a person's feelings - NOT attacking someone else. This type of poem, on the other hand, is written for the express purpose of making fun of / belittling / attacking someone.

But it's still expressing their feelings. If this poem offends people, well guess what? Suicide poetry offends me. It's not going to stop, so why do people get all riled up about this?

Fuck this honestly, if people want to write about death, then let them, they can do whatever the fuck they want, and you dont have to read it if you dont like, I would much rather have my sister show mw her poems about death and cutting then keeping them

Good point... there's more to darkness than death... life is the bleakest it gets. I'd like to find more poetry on here about other things. That and it is a good laugh. :D

Finally, someone is jumping on the bandwagon. Maybe people will listen to you, because they don't listen to me.

haha...this is kinda funny. They always say the people that talk about commiting suicide never do it is the ones that don't say a thing about it we should worry about!
