Hummingbird Feather
By metaphormachine
All your lips
demand
after several surges
abandon ...
All your skin
silky lustre
means much more to me
such as electricity
catharsis / tension ...
All your heartbeats
blow for blow
softness
meanwhile in the interim
ourselves ...
All your eyes
moments
a so-called
soul magnet
because
all your aspiration
declared
the meaning of mine ...
All our kisses
mouth to mouth
contact
meanwhile ...
All your breath
absorb / breathe / exhale
deepen
within me / I am in you
forever ...

textured and ripe with longings sated. something small and damp and soft to be whispered into a sleeping back. tenderly wrought, sir.

Thanks, ma'am! :) All of you have ideas ... & imaginations ... hard to believe ... You can really write many volumes of poems only with the words of the commentaries.

There's something magical in minimalism, that causes one to gaze deeper into its words than others. Perhaps like the hummingbird, the words themselves seem to flit about the mind, and share such sweet nectar. This is a fine piece.

Hummingbirds daze us most times ... also too much nectar ... but our minds are free ... & your praise is very nice ... Thanks for your piece!

...this is imbued w/words & phrases that float, refusing to remain attached to the page. it has a taste of Cummings, who freely used the word 'meanwhile'...
