Fireworks

By brokensme

Fire lights the skys
Burning the horizan before our eyes
Colors glow bright before us
As the fire drops down into the forest

As the light starts to dim
You try to remember how it begins
The colors start to fade
Ever slowly loosing their shade

The embers turn to ash
Everything else can push it past
As the orange turns to grey
You just want to stay

As the ashes hit the floor
The flame burns no more
Just a pile of sut
Only you can get off your foot
