Reach (My Internal)

By Midnight Phoenix

The casualty was left for dead
Her home a hundred miles away
Still these thoughts and words unsaid
All her memories decay

Watching lonely from all this mess
Blood and tears fare thee well
Await the torture I can’t miss
My internal will never exist

An anonymous girl died today
She was mine but we’ll never know it
Still searching to find a better way
Self destroyed for feeling the same

Caught in a dream without a meaning
She cried out for someone to show
How could I know there was more to being
But I guess I will never know...

There is a tender saddness about this, the never knowing and the sorrow combined beautifully..........O.
