blues, I think

By alex herewane

Deep dark eyes, whiskey brain
Long brown fingers, cigarette stain
Time to go down as low as you can go
It's a wild wind, you can ride it out, you can ride it in
Crowded people walking slow, look out here comes your past
Look out here comes your future, eyes on the ground, pushing and shoving
get you nowhere fast
I was searching for you, when you said you were leaving well I didn't know it would be so soon.
Why do we put our love on the line then try to shape it, push it around
I want a lover, lover, lover thats in love with love, I want a mother, mother, cause something I never had, I want a moment a moment to last forever
I want to breathe to breathe easy cause thats the art of life
Cherry lipstick, suspenders, high heels, short tight black dress
Yes she looks as good as she feels
So far gone and I wanted so much more
I want ,I want, I want, I wanted
Now I think I know what the blues are for
