My Sacred Sanctuary

By daiglepoems

 Please.
Bear with me today.
I have a hole to fill.
To keep the emptiness at bay
I've devised a special skill.

I spill my guts on paper.
Slit a vein and let it bleed.
A quixotic little caper
nobody need read.

No profound observations.
Answers to the question, "Why".
New themes or variations.
Just some pie in the sky.

A journey to a place
you never knew existed,
where I wear a different face
and my number is unlisted.

Wish I c ould take you there.
Take the  load off of your feet.
Let you let down you hair,
maybe share a bite to eat,

but my sacred sanctuary,
where none but I can go's
an estuary for my mind's
wandering ebbs and flows.

An imaginary workshop.
A cerebral studio
where I can make the world stop.
Get off,
and watch the show.

Everybody needs a place of refuge, either real or imagined. Gives us an outlet for sharing some private stuff that family would be bored with. Well done and cheers!
