words play the tune
By alex herewane
words play the tune
the sounds are yours
the colours are mine
you play the tune
the words hold the colours
the sounds
are mine
I play the tune
the colours are yours
the
words hold the sound
lay yourself down beneath the strenght
of strings
no voice could hope to hum
freedom is hidden
from the drifting refugee
nature does not need your answer
death does not need your hand
your romantic dream
the vagueness of your innocense
or your phony god
like scream
this is my birth right
I stood unwound
beneath the skies
and clouds unbound by laws
the crying rain
like a trumpet sang
and asked for applause
