The Girl who was Sculpted by the Sea
By Idsight
Burrowing toes arch their back
And purr for soft sand's golden heat
The thrum of the tide sits on top of your chest
Pulse slowing 'til
you're ebbing in sync.
The salt in the air coats your tongue
Mouth flooding, you swallow the sea
The ice breeze then slides in
the green of your eyes
And drifts back to reality.

humm, this reminds me of floating on the ocean, but it could also be drifting away

How beautifully erotic. As someone who is personally in love with the sea, I feel this poem in my soul. Thank you for this wonderful work.

i love poems like this. i see them as containers that are larger on the inside than they are on the outside. so few words, so much room to wander in them.
