The Beast In Me
By WoundsLikeStars
Long ago, when my eyes were turned
A beast invaded me
I neither invited nor resisted it
I became a carrier, a host to blackened desires
And I've learned to wield,
Silence,
Chain,
And unleash this fiend when it suits me best...
But your presence is simply making any control a false inclination...
Your “come unto me” stance has broken the chain,
Your unholy mouth has opened the gate,
Your arching spine has destroyed any hold,
Your parted veil has crumbled my precious sanity
And the beast in me is about to be the beast in you.
