Mount Greylock

By TyrantAvDetForbannet

Ancient times, where plague ran through the plains
A mountain stood, that put all to shame
It cradled history, deep the roots have grown
Iced and burned from the heat and snow
Lands where none have dared to go
The living greet death, rotting and unburied
And hymns of old, through the wind it's carried
It's story told of shadow, that grip the surface

There tread the trinity, grim in all it's glory
And fallen, our brother in to madness
that this world has stained, with the strings of sadness
Strength taught that the hearts of brave, the black flame
burns forever, even in birth of our grave.

(mount greylock is real and is located in the state of Massachuchetts)

(the travel through these dense woods are true, 3 guys that went through and I the one who recorded it.)

Haven't had a chance to go there yet, but I intent to someday, this piece is a pretty badass way to describe it, the first stanza's casual rhyme is particularly well put together. Scholar
