Dying in Her Pain

By brokensme

There he goes again,
Like many times before,
His fists are balled,
As she is laying on the floor,
Power rages within his veins,
And she covers her pain.

She says this is the last time,
Next time he will do better,
He promises never again,
Will he swing his hand,
But his power rages within his veins,
And she hides her pain.

How long will this continue?
When will enough be enough?
Try as much as they can,
And yes people can change,
But his power rages within his veins,
And she cries behind her pain.

As their tempers grow shorter,
And his strikes become harder,
He completely loses control,
As he blacks out,
And his power rages within his veins,
And she dies from her pain.

And all those who've never gone thru that have no idea that pain and suffering. Not just physically, but worst of all, emotionally. It kills the person you once were, and you can never be that person again. Liked tha write, it moved me. Again, i kno tha feeling. . .
