Angels Don't Kill

By Leith Plunkett

Etching little white daisies

     with charcoal eyes

Red clouds weeping

          the ruin of angels

Her lips,

     a hint of autumn paled

Symphony of the night

          embrace her whispers

Red clouds bleeding

My eyes are playing tricks on me

How I miss you

Thankyou. I find romance very versatile, soft, dark, fatal. With such a powerful emotion you can make it anything you want it to be.
