One-eyed Jack

By Malcholm Dark

One eye in the rear
Looking at what you have got.
And one in the front
Looking at what you have not.

One eye is on her
A queen of hearts with a smile.
And one looks around
Checking the others with style.

One eye is too content
Becoming a complete bore.
And one, dissatisfied
Never happy, wanting more.

One eye is passive
Looks away, only glances.
And one is crazy
Spiteful, no second chances.

One is enlightened
Utmost compassion intact.
And one is fearsome
Always ready to attack.

I am two-faced, spaded black
Think twice, I am one-eyed jack!

Aint that the way of the world, coming at you from both ways, good to see that you got it covered. Humour and wisdom, this is a very good write.!

This may sound strange, but this put me inside the mind of the jack. The poor jack also seems to have dual personalities, I now both fear and pity him lol. Another amazing work, you haven't disappointed my friend. Scholar
