The death of my son, my only son

I see what is happening to my world
I lie down with a tear in my eye and accept it
I contemplate over a million ways to die
Depressed that I can only choose one

Everyday is the same
As a pagan I pray to the god who forsake me
As I deteriate, watching my world waste away
Tortured by eyes of purgatory

I hunger for the pain to end
I want to cut out that part in my life
Where I lost my son
My only son

Death surrounds me
I've seen the Grim Reaper
And I almost understand why
but never why son, my only son

My son never saw xmas
My son never saw snow
My son never saw the tears in my eyes
I just wish I could hold him now
