let me tell you a tall tale
about monsters in your bedroom that will always prevail.
The monster in your closet
likes to suck away your soul.
The monster in your dreams
is is right behind your bedroom door.

The monster under your bed
is hungry to be fed.
Fill nightmares into
your tiny head.

In the shadows lurks a creature,
with teeth as sharp as knives,
hungry for something,
like little girls and boys.

All the creepy monsters circle round your bed,
waiting for the moment that they can all strike you dead.
So never close your eyes.
Never turn off the lights.
Cause as soon as all goes quiet,
then they will begin to fight
