Lock Down

By crius42

Lock Down Since the first day she left me she locked her self down and closed the door and lost most of her freedom, Week one impetuous and instantaneous; abuse sets in hurting what she loved most and not caring of the consequences, Week two comes around; the life she once knew begins to fade away as the eraser drags across what was once her life and arguments arise as she instinctively fights to get back to where she was once happy, Week three settles in; as she takes on the part of responsibility again for a man who in 34 odd years could not take care of him self correctly, no self respect or for her unless for his own good, no sense of direction and the confusion sets in as the eraser drags across more of what was once her life. She takes part in what she doesn't want most and in with the care and responsibility of what really isn't hers either but that of which belongs to his past miss judgments, taking on the challenges that she should never have to take in and living in between the world of two past lovers that made two bonds of flesh and blood creating a world of their own that she should not have to come in between because of carelessness and the foolish things he did to her. Week four drags around the corner as the decision of a rash and hasty move begins to collapse on her and she starts to decay as the mental stress from his deliberate and tedious movements have gotten them no where..and the words from his mouth begin to shatter like glass as promises are broken once more. Confusion from confinement sets in, turning into anger and not knowing where to turn, this world she stepped back into is beginning to look like a cell with no where to go. Week five has arrived and more promises are given with excuses chained behind them floating across the room as a gentle breeze; symbolizing false freedom to relieve the pains of becoming embedded in a world she does not belong in, There is a key that lies on the other side of this cold metal door, sitting on a bare wooden table covered in dust as the only visitor to keep her informed of a world out side of her past is awaiting her and welcoming her to come start anew. Week six sluggishly walks her way and things still look desolate and cold... There is always freedom waiting for you on the other side of the door, There is always someone who can get you out..they wait and offer you there key just as you came along and offered him yours..you brought him to a whole new world as you brought him out and showed him new things he never experienced or felt. Now he returns the favor of happiness once again as the two once were...He sits and waits living in a world for two...where only one exists and two should consist.
