A Reason to Die

By Miztaken4beauty

Time is running out to repent for your sins,
Do something right before you never do anything again.
You can hear his cries, his angry accusations.
He was never worth your time or your conversation.
Remember his face and listen to his voice.
In the final moment you will have to make a choice.
For a long time now you've both shared a heartache.
Both have lost something that only one could take.
You lashed out because you knew that he was right,
and NOW you decide that he's reason enough to fight?
Such a bright future, he has so much ambition!
You take that away and his life in addition?
He was an innocent in a web of deciet,
and even in death he didn't admit defeat.
Things might've been different if he was more like you,
This time you will see this all the way through.
And in the end a trade did commence,
you traded your tainted life for his innocence.
