Vigilante Suite II

By Malcholm Dark

There once was a rustler, a killer our sheriff had jailed
And with whiskey and hate, our justice system again failed.
To the nearest tree we went with our rope, our man and our cause
And hung a vicious outlaw...
or at least, we believe he was!
--Hang the guilty and hang'em high
stretch their necks and watch'em die.
--To all evildoers who envade our town
get the hell out of Dodge, before sundown!

I loved the Wildwest series really brought forth my feelings of wanting to have lived back then. I guess if they believed he was a rustler, it was true lol. Thanks for sharing. Scholar
