Vigilante Suite

By Malcholm Dark

There once came a young stranger to our town
Who stood by as our sheriff was gunned down.
To the nearest tree we took a frightened sixteen year old kid
And hung our sheriff's killer...                                                                                                                or at least, I believe we did!
--Hang the guilty and hang'em high
stretch their necks and watch'em die.
--To all evildoers who invade our town
get the hell out of Dodge, before sundown!
