Darkness

Eat me up inside
There is no where left to hide
For night has
fallen.
The sky is carrying death
As I try to run away
Tears well up inside
We are all to die
On this journey
to our hell
That we all call life
The child cries out
Says her mother is in pain
She was killed tonight.
Try
to face the rain
We are all doomed anyways
As darkness consumes.
My darkness cacoon
Has spread far out of my reach
Eating
holy lands
And as we all die
I whisper to you goodnight
As our lights go off
