She lies before me in a
glitter of white
Her lines so seductive, oh what a sight.
I
am hers, yes forever hers, for I have lost the fight
She is the
one, the only one, I'm blinded by her light.
Many times a day I
must take in all her beauty
I surrender all control and all sense
of duty.
She has taken my life and turned it asunder
I draw
closer to the end and six feet under.
--I will give anything
to have her, everything I own
my family, my financial security,
even my home.
--A relinquishment of hope with no end in sight
I pay rent to the devil for an angel in white.
Oh the jobs
I have lost and will never get back
The best women they come and
go, that is a fact.
Money squandered away, a good marriage gone bad
I don't see my kids anymore, that's really sad.
This angel I
hate, though the sweet I always yearn
She takes all that I have,
giving nothing in turn.
So take heed my friends, there's a lesson
to learn
Stay clear of this angel, her ways you must spurn.
--I will give anything to have her, everything I own
my family,
my financial security, even my home.
--A relinquishment of hope
with no end in sight
I pay rent to the devil for an angel in white.
My life is abound within decay and disdain
The havoc she
has wreaked is a wicked shame.
To possess her I must, with nothing
to gain
My angel is a demon...
her name is cocaine!

Interesting depiction of the devastating effect of cocaine on one's life. Very to the point. Thanks for sharing.

That was incredible, and it teaches a valuable life lesson, don't do cocaine kids. It reminds me though that a whole half of my family are crackheads lol not me of course.
