We Drank Of Stolen Moments

By DescendingDown

Bathing in his Romanesque presence
Everything else had the volume turned down

I lay in a rumpled shyness
chin to my shoulder
His breath on my neck
painting standards

Do I dare to look up
To see the static lullaby
playing softly in his eyes
Vibrant waves of hazel & emerald

He is the way a stuttering innocence blushes
in the late spring nights that left me gasping for more
Bodies braided in the sexuality of intellect
& I left my heart tangled in ivory sheets

a work replete with ephemeral beauty - this was truly stunning - in such a serene manor

Sounds like one of those wonderful moments you want to replay over and over in your mind. A very calming read, thank you for sharing.
