Untitled (Part I)

By Deaths Apostle

It's getting harder to breathe
As the stench of death and decay fill the air
Society is crumbling, falling to its knees
You contribute to the hell which is upon us
You slaughter the survivors, the free thinkers
You conform with that which secretly wishes you dead
I want to help you but you continue to push me away
I wish it wasn't true but you hate me though I love you
On your knees, gasping for air
You now realize who really cares
You have fulfilled your use
Society has cast you away
But now it's too late
No one will save you
Now you know what it's like to be hated
You asked and you received
Now death awaits you
All that I can do is say
I'm sorry

  • A former member wrote: This is pretty decent; a lot of great imagery and verbiage, though the grammar-errors (ie: capping of random words throughout) drove me a little batty. Other than that, well done & thanks for sharing. x.
