flirting with Conviction

By disposable

if you just stand before the ocean
where water meets earth
where wet mingles with dry
the place where opposites dance
and mix in the purest of beauty

you might find the courage
whether you face the shore with the hills to climb
or whether you place your eyes on the signifigance
of the rising sun
answers will come to you
all that is lost or forgotten
all that is new or yet to be
will be before you
and influence will call it a day

i promise you with the nobility of fathers
and the convictions of mothers
that life will be worthwhile
that smiles will have meaning
and lies will roll away

if you dare to stand before the ocean
where water meets earth
where wet mingles with dry
the place where opposites dance
and mix in the purest of beauty

yes sainted, if we step into the muck, if we dive into the circumstance and really pay attention to the grittiness of a dilema-the rest will be easy from there. its always about the first step, isnt it?

Wonderfully inspirational. I am particularly fond of the third stanza. Nicely wrought.
