How Wide The Sky

By Northstar

How wide the sky
miles and miles
stretching the horizon
an unfathomable distance
and my love for you is all that vast
and all that unknowable
and humbling and intangible
unable to be quantified
or limited by the
constraints of definition

my soul moves through that space
a cloud in the depths
of an ocean of sky
rolling with waves of joy and happiness
tides of a living, loving life

my heart is a star brightly burning
in the infiniteness of my love for you
making but a small light
in that great expanse

and as I gaze into the openness
of the heavens above
I dream dreams of all the worlds of love
you have yet to explore

How wide the sky
miles and miles
stretching the horizon
an unfathomable distance
and my love for you is all that vast
and all that unknowable
and humbling and intangible
unable to be quantified
or limited by the
constraints of definition

you paint such a vivid picture of the unimaginable. kudos, this is a strong write. i like how even though it is about the infinity of love-the lines bring it full circle but dont close anything in. write on...
