Love

By AdrianJ

When her love seems too sweet, clingy and passionate...
She would step back and watch
...is this real ?
or... is this happening because I desire it too/so much?
... what if we both...just... fell into some illusion?
... what if love is just a mirage and... nothing more?

Staring at the face of... love...
should I not be happy, calm, peaceful... only?
why would the angel and demon still...
come out of me... at the same time?

Should not they both have the firm belief that...
there shall be...
a long journey in front of them-
there shall be time...
for things to be said
for things to be done
for a new world... to be created... together?

Should this love be noticed... or shown?
Oh... yes... you saw and knew...
for it has...
softened her eyes,
purified her smile,
accompanied her heart,
tamed her soul,
and made her whole being
... sensitive and gentle...

She guards this Love... with caution, patience, passion, tenderness and love.

There's definitely a precaution when it comes to love - especially by those who have been hurt in love before....but embracing it is a beautiful thing...it's always a toss up I guess, harder for some than others - is tommorrow's pain worth today's happiness? anywho - thought provoking write :) ~Withering~
