Through the nightglass I.

That silky cobweb nightgown of yours
Reveals more than covers,
My baroness.
Why does it take time
To remove something,
That more isn’t than is?
Listen to them.
Lovers of the night.
For what they yearn.
What music they make.

im commenting on this,as to me its simplicity seems much more honest than the grandiose ones.and the last stanza reminds me of a "song for the lovers".:)

A sultry web, this beckons. Bare and softly woven, though its seductive sway and hum is not to be underestimated. There's a magic in these words. Thank you.

Insightful piece, wonderful imagery. The second stanza is outstanding and applies to so very many things in life. Creative, interesting and well crafted. Very much enjoyed this!
