The Handprints of the Heart

By insanemonroe

The handprints of the heart, are shown upon his face.
Bellowing laughter is shortly followed by giggling sighs.
He slowly Reaches his tiny fingers for the puddle just trying to catch the boy inside.
His smiles more than a million words could describe, his laughter more happy notes than a composer can write.
Shining bright blue eyes filled with wonder at the scenery surrounding him.
As the dewy grass tickles his teeny toes, he again cackles with joy.
These precious moments make the handprints of the heart
