Embrace the Infinite

By AdrianJ

Question this ferocious lie we think is life
Which devours its own young
nourishing them with the poison of consciousness

Until it's brother against sister
Father against mother
Parents against child

We were all born into the same prison
The celebration of carnage
as our inherited addiction
destroys the ocean, putrefies the air and fouls
the soil of our nourishment

As both villain and victim
we celebrate our apathy-fueled self-destruction
Because education is no longer to question
But to obey

Let one's soul dance naked to the true rhythm
the rhythm of life itself

Perfume blinds the scent
Flash blinds the sight
The slow, steady, regular cadence of propaganda deafens perception
Finery numbs palpable feeling

Set yourself free -
Free to choose
Free to lose your illusion - but gain the universe
