You may think I'm negative...

By AdrianJ

Once you understand the true nature of things, you will come to realize
you cannot have one
without the other

The stupidity of the power of positive thinking (everything is going to be alright)
comes from fear of the negative
fear is tool, not just a weapon.
you must face your fears,
let them pass and annihilate all distractions
so that only you and your goal remains

There is no good without evil
Good all the time blunts the senses
dulls the taste

You consume more and more
until you go into overload

and hide in your denial
until it destroys your mind
and you become a creature
a slave, an animal who's only instinct
is further positive stimulation

and you lose yourself, your very humanity as a result.

Now that I've laid out the alternatives to be avoided,
aren't you more drawn to what it is you need?

This is another favorite - so much understanding wrapped up in few spent words - this could be unfolded into volumes on the ways of man and the world. Again, Thank You ~Downstream~
