In Desperate Need Of Change

By insanemonroe

Turbulent and chaotic is this world

This passion the drive to be normal

The deep lingering of love, the want of lust, the desire to have more

In this world of debauchery where do we stand?

Are we merely pawns in a chess game? Or do we have a meaning, a place, a destiny?

The choices we make define us; the words we choose join us

Our fear and pain and beliefs separate us

Yet this world is full of hate treachery, pain, terror, death, sadness and gripping fear

There is happiness, love, trust, and kindness, not often seen

But we would only open your eyes we would will see it and

Our children with guns, our priests raping the innocent, our government fooling us

Why do we turn a blind eye? Can this be changed, or is it to late to be helped?

Its not action of one it is the joining of man it will take us all to fix our mistakes

The real question isnt can we change ... Its are you willing to try?
