When I'm near you I am happy
I guess that's all I ask
I'm so tired of all this living
I would much rather relax
So maybe you're not perfect
In any way at all
I just want to be near you
That's all there is, that's all.
When I'm near you I am happy
When you're gone I'm happy too
You're just a little more important
Than I ever am for you
I wonder if you like me
Though you most certainly love
When I'm beside you I would rather
Be beside and then above
I try to stay away from happy
The more I talk the more I'm sad
I try to be unhappy near you
So that you know when things are bad
And then I get you crying
And so I try to run away
I wish I could see you happy
At least three times every day
So now I'm trying to be happy
Even though I'm clearly not
I'm too fucking determined
To limit movement to one spot
I think that you are lying
At the least it's to yourself
I never ever see you
So just go home, tend to your health
When I'm near you I am happy
I guess that's all I ask
I no longer need fulfillment
I only want you to relax
And maybe there's a movie
We can watch on pay-per-view

Maybe something new
