What have I to say?

Yesterday we talked on the phone for hours
The hours just whittled themselves away
Until time just seemed to stop with a question
Shock and disbelief came over me

Running over my skin like when cold water is poured on you
You just stand there and literally freeze
Damn that was a weird question
Thinking over and over what you said

It lingers in my confused little mind
I already said the words but I still feel weird
Yes I will be your wife and I want to be with you forever
But only time will tell how it all turns out
