Unspoken
By Stormcomin
The willows moan now
And the sea is black upon its shores
And nightmares purge a blade of dreams
For death doesn’t knock...
...on open doors
And in the dying winds, revealed, unspoken memories
They’ve finally given in to the strength of their disease
And all is quiet...
And all is lost...
No hope repays the lender...
...who demanded such a cost

This is some deep hitter right here..Despite its short length, there's a lot to take in. Amazing write.

I like that this is a very visual poem. When I read it I think of monochrome scenery... Sad and hopeless but beautiful.

"For death doesn’t knock... ...on open doors" --- Wonderful line and powerful write. Amazing job on this, all the words flowed peacefully together and I felt tranquility reading this.

Maybe it's the mood I was already in, but this actually made my eyes tear up. I think it's beautiful, though...perfectly formed, with the right amount of rhyme. The first stanza was my favorite. =)
