  • "Masterpieces come from unlikely sources, at unlikely times, in unlikely places. Oftentimes, I have to rush home from a walk because have an idea or two. I especially loved the usage of onomatopoeia in this, very engrossing that way."

  • "Everyone has a favorite ghost, an ethereal orb that serves as a beacon. Mine was always Dickinson, though my influences have differed throughout, I've always had an affinity for her work. Never give up the chase, you might find something interesting along the way, another fine senryu."

  • "I agree, winter is both feminine and delicate, a malleable powder that you can crush in your palm, frozen sculptures that break to the touch. Winter is something fleeting, something best in poetry, to preserve every flake. I love seasonal poems, and this is definitely one of my particular favorites. You may also like the works of Meadowhawk, his imagery is much like yours. Write onward."

  • ""You’re never around when it’s convenient you always slink away when things get heated you leave and arrive with fresh needle holes and the same red eyes" Isn't that the truth, reminds me of how my friend always comes back and tells me that she cut herself again, then leaves me to worry with months of dead air between us. Best friends don't keep secrets huh? I wish she would listen before it's too late. Sorry to hear about you're friend."

  • "Well since all of the neighborhood felines want to eviscerate my face, I wouldn't recommend it. There is literally a Starbucks next door to another Starbucks here, and that scares me. It's almost like they're trading secrets of domination over a frappe mocha, I can hear them, whispering... ;) It's a shame though, that my favorite hometown coffee shop will someday, slowly lose it's acoustic air. *Plants tongue firmly in cheek* nicely done."

  • "The content fits well with the delicate, yet jutting appearance of a diamond. It reads like a slight nip at the nape of your neck. Wonderful shape poem, not too many of its kind."

  • "Echoing my comment previously, I find the conciseness of senryu to pack an admirable punch, equivalent to the other, more complex styles. This is no different, beautifully blunt, write onward."

  • "Partaking of the flesh and blood, communion through consumption, a classic and revered concept. I too have a certain affinity for senryu, I find their minimalism to be just as pungent as their more meaty brethren. Write onward."
