No other writer has influenced me more. I spend a good portion of my time writing about him or trying to write like him. Either way, I'll probably be chasing Jack the rest of my life.

Everyone has a favorite ghost, an ethereal orb that serves as a beacon. Mine was always Dickinson, though my influences have differed throughout, I've always had an affinity for her work. Never give up the chase, you might find something interesting along the way, another fine senryu.
