  • "Liked the repeating line very much here Mo, but then that's just my proclivity for all things apocalyptic I'd suppose. Wondering what we'd do to each other if for real??? Cheers! - Dan"

  • "When you dance with the devil you wait for the song to stop. This was delightfully evil mo, you just get better and better. Almost feels like a Danzig type song, loving it. Keep them coming bro "

  • "Several "sisters" come to mind Mo, but your accompanying photo eliminates most of them my friend. Oh for those hanging gardens; with the Euphrates in spring flood. I can still hear them ululating in that fiery furnace. She looks like a keeper to me. Enjoy and cheers! - Dan"

  • "Love the long bowel sounds, and the ache and oh so alone feeling that emerges. Impactful imagery - I see utter darkness in a starless sky. Great write! Thank you for your work!!"

  • "This is golden and timeless, such impactful and lilting words flowing perfectly and adaptive to the reader. This touched me."

  • "Great lyrics though such a sad song ... that title and refrain conjures such a sinking feeling and loss of hope , yet in a visually stunning way... is there a melody?"

  • "thanks man, I totally agree. they were ture badasses. just for the record I watched the 13th warrior for the first time ...what a great movie thanks for the heads up. it reminded me of a movie I like a lot called " kingdom of heaven" same kind of story line, it takes place during the crusades, the main character is a blacksmith who ends up fighting for the Christian holy city that's under attack buy Muslims. if you've never seen it check it out I think you'll like it. later bro"

  • "I totally agree overlord all the way if I have a choice. I wrote this a while back, my attempt at a heavy metal song. the art work comes from a band called "Molly Hatchet" They always had this kind of imagery on their album covers. as for the wicked witch I had to ask my girl what movie it was from 'cause I honestly have never seen that one ....people tell me that's weird. lol. Cheers my friend"

  • "Better an overlord than an underling I always say Mo. Enjoyed the nod to Shakespeare I believe, with the "Heavy hangs the head..." effectively employed and re-enforced by the later repetition. Sorcerers always seem to be the bad guys, except for Merlin and the Witch of the East. Cheers my friend! - Dan"

  • "I'm a big fan of the "live by the sword, die by the sword" era. I love the honor and courage that the warriors lived and died by in that time frame. One of my favorite movies of all time is The 13th Warrior. Get some Mo"

  • "One of the things I love about your work and especially this piece is how the imagery and flow builds and builds throughout and once you hit that pinnacle, the fall back down is gentle but still leaves you breathing hard from the ride. This is so otherworldly and weightless that it almost seems to roll in waves an by the end, it all makes so much sense it's damn near senseless. This one stays with me. Thank you for sharing this."
