  • "knowledge changes our way of thinking, and you've captured just this so very neatly in this lovely write. btw...in the second verse you have 'last' twice. unless that was deliberate. "

  • "...love has many perceptions: bitter & sweet, true & deceptive, spiritual & lustful. & of course in the end nothing matters, but they certainly make life & poetry much more interesting... "

  • "love, marriage, children - used to be the normal progression. Nevertheless, one label may be as good as another in the final analysis, well-said."

  • "The've been here before us and will no doubt be here after we have gone. Something to be said for socially ordered insects. But I think it maybe Communism could be the Homo sapiens equivalency, and that doesn't seem to work so well, cheers Cadymae!"

  • "the biology of the hive mind... I like that phrase, semantically, it is loaded, very nice... the redundancy of lines' ends could be seen to mimic the repetition of the lack of free will, perhaps... only the squish stands out... the end of monotony, maybe, and rote living. I can't think of ants without recalling Thoreau... I think it was in 'brute neighbors' of Walden... where the ants become an extended metaphor for society, maybe. Been awhile. Maybe freedom is always over estimated to be something more than it could ever be. Also makes me think of Kant's 3rd antinomy... in the critique of pure reason... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kant%27s_antinomies thanks for the thoughtful expression of considerations far beyond. :) hope you are well "

  • "I'm not a fan of rhyming the same word over again for the entire stanza. It really takes away from the reading of the piece. Interesting concept though."
