I used to work in a call centre up here who's clientelle were Americans--Quite often I'd be asked what I thought were the most significant differences between Canadians and Americans and I always answered with, "Not too much difference really--Canadians are a little less patriotic and a lot less armed."--always got a chuckle. And for the record, I'd like to say that I think the average American gets a lot of bad press based on the actions of a few....I very much enjoyed my interactions and was always overwhelmed by the interest my callers had in Canada--I was asked a lot of interesting questions and a few funny ones. Oh, and so many wonderful accents to listen too....those Southern men....delightful!"
