Passion Murder Mask... She Walks With Axe in Hand Tonight

By Bella Butchery

I can see you hardly miss me
As much as I miss you
You ruined everything
She walks with an axe in hand tonight
My words missed your heart
And went too deep
I thought you might have died

Desperate lung torn collision
She walks with an axe in hand tonight

Weight of the blade
Screaming pavment pursuit
relentless bloody
matted hair, dirt smirk
....The heart severer....

Cleave

Touchtone memories
Suspended in dive bars
For a condescending audience
Both of us will never leave this place alive

….a portrait …
Maybe an ink stained something….

Sit amongst the crows
A skeleton white wash
In the warmth
Of dull flickered lights
“lets get fucked up”
And chase dreams across
Flat-lined cynicism
About how we should have made it
Or change the beat/tempo

The one that got away

Mix / loop

This world doesnt seem real
This world doesnt seem real

An enraged sense of passion
Broke a million sunset memories

She walks with axe in hand tonight

Capillary stained dress
Whiskey lipped induced trance
And in this...
Awake for the first time
Since the last time
Your analogies seemed trite
She walks with an axe in hand tonight
My blank stare seems feeble
And will never halt your stride

  • A former member wrote: "And in this.../ Awake for the first time/ Since the last time" I'm not quite sure why, but those have to be my favourite lines. The entire write is beautifully done with great imagery. the betrayal must have been dreadful. --Kaosu

This might seem weird but in my head Cedric Bixler-Zavala sings the line "She walks with an axe in hand tonight" and it fills my mind..

Is this a repost/rework? The repeat line/title sticks in my head; I've loved it before and I love it now. Awesomely effective.
