The Deadly Game of Life

By Preacher X

Life is like a game,
That all men wish to play.
Even though the soul grows dark.
We must always play,
As we see the sun,
Gently slip away from the light of day.
Through the night we continue to play,
Until again we see the light of day.
As we play our life away,
We do baske and bathe in the light of day.
As we play, our shadows do wave,
In this light of the deadly day.
As we continue to play,
This deadly game we play,
Until one day we play no more.
So heed ye this warning,
That I must say.
Whether you choose the path,
Of light and glory or darkness and death.
We will all end up in the ground,
Our new, eternal bedding.
So please try not to play,
Your one and only life away.
This is all I have left to say,
On this my final day.
