Pink Satin

By Tania

I lay in your bed of lies every night
bare in-between satin sheets
knowing the only thing covering me whole is
..fabricated truths..
nightmares swathed delicately beneath laced covers
crushed thoughts silky smooth linger over me like torn-lovers

These sheets that so thinly draw the line amid love and hate
..yet..
Hold us together. So strong.
Hold me together. So fragile.
Cushioning my falls as I wake from my dreams
only to lull me back tenderly..
Just so i can fall all over again..

I lay wrapped in my pink satin
That lays shrouded in tears and feint black lace..

My pink satin.

And I know it will never be silk...

I just came on..because she's on...Hmm...wonder if one can attribute personality traits by their bedding selection? Warm and fuzzy I am, as flannel my favorite? Then in summer...just hot and naked?

  • A former member wrote: I believe she got so much commentary because she is hot. LoL There is maybe 4 or 5 girls on this. LoL Either way I enjoyed the silky feel to this :-D thehe ][ ][

I enjoyed this.. every word was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the first line.

  • A former member wrote: maybe satin's stronger that silk? no? love the provocative conclusion, the way you imbue the fabrics with transcendent meaning... and the colors, too, evolve into symbols of what the reader perceives... nice work!
