The Infinite

By Midnight Phoenix

I've seen the end tonight
A Dream swept by me as a reminder
That no one is safe from the void
And all the beauty will collapse in fire

It will end quick and we will cease
The swirls of orange and red will
Eventually mix into black
And shatter the earth beneath us

The wind will stop and there will be
No tears to shed for we'll all be lost
Eternity will drift on as if
We never existed at all
