I fell out of love today(it was harder than i thought)
By BeautifullyRuined
I have finally figured out
what it feels like to fall out of love
when your emotions get
stuck somewhere behind your teeth
and a smile is just a shape
your mouth makes
his arms hold you
and you feel nothing
but his skin and the bones beneath
that you dont even notice
are becoming more pronounced
as he starves for your affection
but your trapped
like a caged animal
because you where in denial
not thinking something that was
once so perfect should
be given up so easy
and you have never been the
love em and leave em type
you just keep thinking
a little time is all i need
then i'll be myself again
never pausing to consider
this might be who you really are
and lately every time he
looks at you his eyes
are begging baby please stay
and it's like he knows
even though you never say a word
that you are about to walk away
i think the hardest part
of falling out of love
is breaking the one
you swore you`d love forever
when he doesn't deserve to be broken
......I hate myself.........

i feel your struggle, be strong and don't delay... well written (though IMO the hardest thing is leaving when there is love)

"is breaking the one you swore you'd love forever" I did something to this effect just this last August...and I hated myself for doing it, but I understand now that had I not...it would have hurt him a hell of a lot more. Excellent piece. ~*Beth*~

This reminds me of breaking up with my high school boyfriend. I cried afterward even though it was my choice...so painful. Good write.

It is hard to hurt those we are close to. However, staying in something that is not suppose to be..well that would be worse...great write
