"4:00am"

By Grim_Sorrow

serenity
the city sleeps
yet I
troubled by the matters at hand
find myself before the page once more
It's here
amongst the solitude
the ever so silent apogee
It's here that I'm free
justified in my willingness to understand
It's here
half awake
that ideas flow
pieces fit
one random column of cognitive thought
their query is my own
once dormant
hidden beneath the 9 to 5
the tussle & toil
this "Life" as we call it
a guise
to have life one must therefore be living
not just of a physical sense
but emotionally
barring religion one is left with laughter
An ever increasing need for companionship
friendship
family
all of which have become a rarity
opportunity even more so
It's here
amongst the words
thoughts
dreams
It's here I find myself
an entity of need
want
desire
It's in this materialistic world
amongst the chaos
this turmoil
that I find peace
hope
happiness

well fuck happiness
fuck hope
and damnit

Fuck You

I'll be fine on my own

GET OUT OF MY HEAD...it's dusty, dark, and scary as hell in there. No, wait! You know too much. You have to stay. That's why I must bookmard you! It was either that, or kill you... j/k. This is how I wish that I could write. You nailed it, sweetie!
