The elements are what make us

By asailorsangel

My soul gets weaker with every

Tick of the second hand

My tears are filled less with sorrow

And more with disappointment

I tried to show you the way

I tried to lay the path

With every step you take

Your get further away

What is going to take for

You see this life is

Only going to become

What you make of it

When you choose to do nothing

You become nothing

When you choose the wrong path

You hit a dead end

The elements in which

You surround yourself are

What create the atmosphere

Of your world

Elements with no goals

Elements with no one to care about them

Elements that borrower your energy

Elements that don't give back

The hole your in is only getting

Deeper and you are the only

One that has control of

The shovel

But make a decision based on what you feel...look before you leap...god knows I've made enough bad decisions. I had to dig myself out of that whole.
