Bad little Things
By Loneal
Fear
is a vicious
{little}
thing
suddenly wrapping itself around the mind
suffocating it with false ideas
of doom and futile efforts
anticipated to leave one
powerless
pointless
just plain less
than reality shows us.
Doubt
is a nasty
{little}
thing
secretly digging tunnels 'neath confidence
undermining it with hidden caverns
of failing belief and dying dreams
that leave behind one
trustless
faithless
just plain less
than life's joys show us.

This is written from inside. Greatly done.

*sighs* Fear and doubt are, indeed, nasty little creatures to deal with...unfortunately, I'm dealing with both on a regular basis these days. Excellent portrayal of those feelings. ~*Beth*~

Makes me think of the Native American Tale of the two wolves residing within. One represents fear, the other hope. They start out scrawny and weak, and they fight each other. The one that gets fed the most, becomes the strongest and wins.

"Leave Behind One, Truthless, Faithless, Just plain Less, Then Life's Joys Show us." Nicely Written. It shows that it was from the heart.

doubt is consuming...beautifully portrayed in this piece.
