Ethereal Innuendo

By Temerity

Riding between my reason
Face hidden by cloak or mask
Interception of all perception
Drift like echoes of the past

No shadows, no reflections cast
Blindfold of Mystery shields the eyes
Dark inflection clouds my direction
Just as Truth is hidden by Lies

Whispers of Sorrows warning
Captivated, I remain
Steadfast until the morning
Immobilized by the Pain

Ethereal innuendo feels
Like cool fingers on my spine
Pain and Pleasure like driven steel
The Rapture of the Divine

Raven in the Night, you Came
And Spoke to me in Dreams
Nothing can ever be the same
It is, just as it seems
