The Hidden Pond
By Midnight Phoenix
A misty fog rolls off the hidden pond as I sit at the broken docks
Where my naked feet may sway
To look above is to see the arms of trees and I pull the storm clouds
Over my head, I find it safer this way
The water is still and filled with bones
It's tragic but so beautiful
I remain still and wait alone
To find the magic oh so beautiful
The heavy clouds fall into the pond as I sit at the broken docks
Where my naked feet may sway
To look above is to see the rain fall down upon the trees
Then I close my eyes, close my eyes and sleep
