Dont always believe what
you see
I could show you things you could
only wish were real
Too bad it`s all fake
The me you see is purely
ILLUSION
This smile is a
MIRAGE
The stars in my eyes are just a
REFLECTION
of the light I never see
look inside of me
a deadened soul
a blackened heart
I look like an angel when
I sleep
there`s nothing celestial
about me
My dreams are nightmares
When I run to you it`s only
because i`m scared
the demons are catching up
When I grab your hand it`s only
because my world
is crumbling beneath my feet
and when I cry it`s not for you
but for every step
I`m scared to take on my own
The only reason I cant live
without you is
because i`m scared to be alone
everytime i laugh it`s just the
hysteria bubbling over
everytime i fall asleep in your
arms it`s not for closeness
it`s for fear of not waking up
and evrytime i say i love you
it`s just something
to make you stay
it`s just another word
just another thing
